Letters to the President
Letters to the President is a six person musical concert that showcases and reimagines letters from the National Archive written to US Presidents throughout history. The show is a multi-composer musical, featuring prominent "guest letter readers" reading the letters live, and a rich score of songs inspired by the different letters from the archive.
With over 600 attendees at the historical Great Hall at Cooper Union and a podium Lincoln himself spoke from as our backdrop, we curated an evening with Broadway talent and prominent guest letter readers including MSNBC’s Lawrence O'Donnell; ACLU president Susan Herman; and actress Piper Perabo.
